Azores Island Hopping

In 2026, I would like to travel to the Azores, preferably as a round trip, meaning island hopping. The islands are very different. That's what makes them so appealing. It should be a mix of hiking, culture, and nature. The locals and their crafts also interest me. Renting a car, taking the bus, and then continuing by ferry and/or plane – everything is conceivable. My wish is to travel with a woman. Separate rooms are important to me. Accommodations can be apartments or hotels and should be comfortable, but not luxurious. The desired travel period would be September. June is also possible on short notice. I look forward to your feedback. Beforehand, we should definitely get to know each other and coordinate. Alternatively, I could also imagine a round trip in Montenegro. I'm flexible with timing.
